Monitoring and assessment of the ecological quality of water require the analysis of the following
physicochemical parameters:

  • Transparency (lakes and reservoirs).
  • Thermal conditions, Oxygenation conditions, Salinity, pH.
  • Nutrient conditions: soluble phosphorus, nitrate, ammonium.

These parameters give a good indication of water quality, but in certain situations (urban and
industrial pollution, for example) it is necessary to analyze specific pollutants.

Our Division of Water carries out basic physicochemical analysis and manages the analysis of
specific pollutants.
