When the environment is impacted in such a way that it can not recover by itself in a reasonable
time, it is necessary to restore it. Restoration of Water Bodies requires a careful scheduling and it
may achieve great technical complexity. Our Division of Water develops and carries out Restoration
projects of Water Bodies, that take part on one or some of their components:

• Riparian Vegetation (revegetagion or hydroseeding).
• Channel morphology and bed granulometry (environmental engineer, bioengineer).
• Habitat components: branches, logs, blocks (bioengineer).
• Biological communities.
